Michael Gieseke
VP of Originations

My background spans engineering, real estate, and finance. I started my career in engineering and worked on complex infrastructure and transitioned to real estate focused on residential development. I have borrowed more than $100MM in debt, raised equity capital, and partnered with investors on urban infill developments and fix-and-flip projects, and own a small portfolio of rental properties.

I have a B.A. in Civil Engineering from Washington State University and a M.S. in Industrial and Systems engineering from the University of Washington. I also have an M.Sc. in Economics from University College London where I studied real estate investment and development trends in the United States.

My wife and I share a lovely and demanding daughter and two, wildly disobedient dogs. My precious time is spent with family, reading, and planning the next travel destination.

Alex Shea
VP of Finance

At DML, we have lots of options in-house including conventional, FHA, VA, Jumbo, Non-QM, Commercial, and Hard Money financing, and my goal is to help you find the best option to meet your current needs and future goals. I can help with your next purchase, refinance an existing property to lower your interest rate or tap into its equity and get cash out, or help borrowers that might not fit the traditional profile but still desire to purchase or refinance a primary or investment home.
